William is the Executive Director and the Chief Knowledge Officer at Fluent. He leads our team’s analytical work and ensures that our methodologies and analyses reflect the latest developments in the social- and neuro-sciences.
William enjoys a reputation of a highly effective communicator and an erudite thinker. His ability to interpret research insights in the context of larger cultural dynamics that have immediate business implications is unmatched.
William sees research as an essential means to interpret and translate between organizations and the cultures and sub-cultures of their diverse audiences. Having studied and lived in diverse cultures, William brings a unique lens to investigating motivations behind individual and group behaviors.
William has conducted research for corporations, not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, and multinational organizations in the U.S., as well as in Argentina, Mexico, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, the West Bank, Kosovo, Japan, Nigeria, and South Africa.
William received a B.A. in Comparative Religions from Duke University and an M.A. in Economic Development of Less Developed Countries from Georgetown University. He was born in Roanoke, Virginia, has lived in South America, Europe, and the Middle East, and now resides in New York City. In his spare time, he is busy writing non-fiction and keeping abreast of developments in natural and social sciences.
