Mona El-Hout, PhD

Quantitative Researcher

Mona is a Quantitative Researcher at Fluent with expertise in psychology, statistics, and research design. She is passionate about conducting high impact and efficient research that improves our understanding and appreciation of the human experience, particularly through the lens of underserved communities.

Prior to joining Fluent, Mona worked as a User Researcher at Apple, where she was tasked with designing surveys and data analysis for the product reliability team. She also worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Washington, exploring topics such as the effects of stereotypes and perceptions on labor market outcomes, while teaching Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Leadership courses.

Mona earned her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of South Florida, where she used behavioral and psychophysiological methodologies to study the effects of stress on affected populations. Mona also earned her M.S. in Health Psychology and B.S. in Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan.
